Not Surprising

Sometime ago I wrote about someone who received emergency first aid from a St John Ambulance officer  and was suing and saying her treatment was unlawful assault. There was also the Alexandra Van Horn v. Lisa Torti case in California where it doesn't pay to be a Good Samaritan.

Now, we have the gall to complain that a woman in California dies after a nurse refuses to perform CPR?

Oh please!

What a screwed up world where those who help are sued, and those who refuse are in danger of being fired.

It's sad, we can no longer hug a child who has scrapped the knee nor do anything without first having a legal opinion.

Bloody lawyers, hate them so. Australia is getting as litigious as the US so now everyone is scared to do a thing. Poor Nurse, she was only following policy and I bet she will feel bad for a long time as it is.
