Been a while...

Thank goodness it’s Friday. Well, not really. Dislike weekends, the chores are depressing. Cleaning, shopping, blah blah.

Next weekend, sneaking off to Katoomba, in the Blue Mountains, for a bit of R&R. Rented a house, feet up, Chardonnay in hand doing absolutely nothing...

Two observations from down under:

NEARLY a third of Australian men do not wash their hands when they use public toilets, according to a recent survey.

So be afraid, very afraid when you meet an Aussie bloke (saw the CEO of a well know company, take a leak and walk straight of the john… ewww!)

REPRODUCTIVE donors will be able to demand their sperm or eggs only go to certain religious, ethnic or cultural groups or be reserved for heterosexual couples under government legislation pass in NSW this week.

If I’ve made a donation to the Red Cross or whoever, can I demand that the aid not go to certain individuals.

What do you think?

Should donors have the right to choose the recipient of their sperm/ egg?
There shouldn't be any donors

I really need a holiday...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

... to get away from the stresses of daily life, to sit and wile away the day, dipping my toe in the clear blue waters, doing bugger all :)

Sex and procreation…

Why have sex ?

Ever given this question any thought ? Some researches at University of Texas, Austin have... and came up with some 237 reasons. Get the full report and giggle here.

They range from:

the good: I wanted to express my love for the person
the bad: The person had too much to drink and I was able to take advantage of them
and the ugly: I wanted to give someone else a sexually transmitted disease....

Mmm, what's your excuse?

Was given Mika's CD Life in Cartoon Motion yesterday... Love the song "Big girl you are beautiful"

... and by coincidence have been reading (New Scientist) that curvy women are more intelligent and have brainier kids (something to do with hip fat containing polyunsaturated fatty acids critical for the development of the foetus’s brain).

Mmm... I love curvy… Kate Moss you're so history...
