The copy machine and you

Have you ever photocopied important documents in the office? Passports, bank statements, drivers license and the like?

All modern copying machines have a hard disk drive and it is very likely the image of those copies are still on that drive. Imagine what happens when the lease is up. The office gets a new machine and the old one with scans of your personal information gets shipped to Russia or maybe Nigera.
